An employer of choice, One Key Resources employs Open Cut and Underground Operators, Tradespeople and Support Staff at close to 100 locations across Australia.
Casual positions available for Pre Strip Electric Shovel Operators to work at an Open Cut Coal Mine site in Blackwater area. You will be working with a Tier 1 Mining Contractor who requires skilled, experienced and safety minded individuals.
To be successful in these positions you will possess;
Demonstrated experience in Operating Open Cut Mine Equipment including one or more of the following:
- Electric Rope Shovels – P&H 4100 or Cat 7495 or similar
- Proof of prior operating competencies
- Proof of Australian working entitlement (e.g. birth certificate, passport or citizenship)
- A strong commitment to safety
- Adaptability to change as the operation progresses

The Caterpillar 785 Haul Truck, Dump Truck or off-road truck as they are called in the U.S. are still used across the world in open-cut mining operations. This huge truck has proven it’s worth for many years and has often been the entry-level truck for new operators.
