About the Client
The client is a coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal operating on a site in the Middlemount Region and are seeking skilled, experienced and safety minded individuals to join their production team in ongoing opportunities.
About the Role
Bring your experience on CAT 789, 793, 797 Dump Trucks to this site. As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client’s production requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate CAT 789, 793 and 797 Haul Trucks.
- Prestrip Operator Jobs Middlemount QLD
- Pre-start checks
- Maintain equipment
- Operate equipment safely
- Follow company policies and procedures
- 6-months experience on CAT 789, 793 and 797 Haul Trucks
- Drivers Licence
- Standard 11 Induction Training Induction
- Current Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
- RII Competencies for Haul truck

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
