WorkPac is currently seeking experienced and motivated Pre Strip and Coal Mining Dump Truck Operators for an open cut coal mine, located 60km South East of Moranbah and 200km South West of Mackay in the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland
Minimum of 12 months experience is essential operating either, Mechanical Dump Truck: CAT 789, 793, 793 or Electric Dump Truck Komastu 830, 930, Liebherr T282.

Ongoing role for an Immediate Start
BIBO Available from Rockhampton and Mackay
FIFO Option from Townsville (at own cost)
Camp and Meals Provided
BIBO Camp to Site
Minimum 12 months mine site experience operating Mechanical or Electric Dump Trucks

The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen. The Bowen Basin covers an area of over 60,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland running from Collinsville to Theodore and is dotted with many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
