Heavy Diesel Fitter Fixed Mobile Plant Mining Maintenance QLD

Murray Engineering is a Perth, Kalgoorlie and Mount Isa based company providing a comprehensive range of mechanical and electrical maintenance services, throughout the mining industry.

Based at Mount Isa Branch, you will be a positive, proactive, flexible individual who has demonstrated experience and knowledge in the relevant fields. The position will be full time at Mount Isa facility with occasional site coverage in the Mount Isa region.

Successful applicants must have:

  • Australian recognized relevant qualifications
  • Current driver’s license
  • Good communication skills and a “can do” attitude
  • A good attitude towards safety
  • Ability to access Glencore mine sites if required
  • Previous experience on both mobile and fixed plant mechanical equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Contactable references

The successful candidates will be required to meet out pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made. Due to site travel requirements, periodical D&A testing will also be carried out and must be passed.
