BS Diesel are currently seeking trade qualified, experienced Diesel Fitters for an immediate start within the Bowen Basin area. 7/7 Roster.
BS Diesel is assisting the heavy industrial and mining sector in the supply of ad-hoc and long term skilled tradespeople. BS Diesel Management & Recruiters have come from a trade background and understand the need to have the right people, working for the right company, at the right time.
They are seeking mine experienced tradespeople to fill current full time and casual equivalent roles with clients in the Bowen Basin.
Successful in the roles you must possess or be willing to option the following:
- Trade Qualification
- Standard 11 Induction Training or BMA Induction
- Coal Board Medical
- Current Drivers License

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
The Bowen Basin covers a total area of over 60,000 square kilometres and is located in Central Queensland; running from Collinsville to Theodore. The entire region is home to many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
