Site Coordinator – Quarries (Montrose)
Great opportunity to join Boral as they recognized as employers of choice within the industry. This position is based at Montrose, reporting to the Quarry Manager. In this role your primary focus will be the safe and efficient running of the operation on day to day basis. With a strong safety focus, you will have a genuine interest in the challenges of running the operation, including the ultimate responsibility of developing the site resource plan, supervision of all daily activities and staff and conducting inspections.
Key to the success in this role, you will ideally come from a similar role within a quarrying/mining environment with relevant quarry supervision accreditation such as Diploma in Extractive Industries or similar would be an advantage but not essential.
You will have strong people and communication skills and experience in training and staff development, along with having an invested interest in Boral ’s health and safety standards and improving the safety culture of the site.
