Crush Tech Mining Pty Ltd is focused on providing reliable and experienced personnel, to cover all facets of repair and maintenance of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment, Mobile Crushers and Screens. They currently supply short and long-term labour for various sites and projects in Mining, Quarrying & Civil Operations throughout Queensland.

They are currently seeking a HD Field Service Fitter to join there team. Within this roles you will be required to have a competent understanding and experience working on large OEM Mobile Machinery and a proven ability with fault finding and diagnostics. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on the mobile fleet in the field. This positions will require you to have developed interpersonal skills coupled with a track record in previous mining/quarrying related maintenance roles.

1 x HD DIESEL FITTER (FIELD SERVICE)

  • Roster: Mon – Fri (Day Shift) + Call Outs for Major Brake Downs
  • Accommodation provided when in Moranbah
  • Site: Service between Moranbah & Emerald
  • Field Service vehicle provided
  • Start: Immediate – Ongoing

NOTE: This position requires you to predominantly maintain a fleet of Quarry Equipment, and on some occasions will be required to fill in as an Operator to assist in production. You will also be required as a back up Fitter to maintain CAT Dozers and heavy mobile plant, at local mine sites.

To be considered for either of these roles, you must hold:

  • Relevant Trade Qualification
  • Current RII Competencies
  • Generic Induction (S11)
  • Coal Board Medical
  • Manual Drivers License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and functionality assessment
  • Only applicants who currently reside in EMERALD will be considered

Caterpillar Haul truck 777

The Caterpillar 777 is a 100-ton haul truck, typically used in open pit mining, manufactured by Caterpillar Inc. The first model of Caterpillar 777 was introduced in 1974. Its diesel engine is capable of putting out 870 horsepower. The 777D, introduced in 1996, was powered by a 938-horsepower diesel.

This truck is one of the entry-level haul trucks most new operators will learn on. Once competent, they will move up to the larger 785, especially when working on a coal mining site.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
