Expeditor – Adelaide Casual Brisbane QLD
They currently have a requirement for an experience Expeditor to support a major JV project in Adelaide. The role will report to the Procurement Manager and will be responsible for the management of the project equipment packaging process, including the associated vendor data in accordance with the contract schedule
This role would suit someone with a strong materials expediting background within the mining and minerals processing sector and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Manage the project vendors and fabricators, ensuring they comply with the schedule requirements
- Regularly review the vendor and fabricator schedule performance
- Manage and identify opportunities of potential delays and implementing strategies to minimize delays
- Daily maintenance of the internal reporting system ensuring they are accurate
- Manage vendor data deliverables
- Accountable for fortnightly and monthly forecasting
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Purchasing or related business qualification
- Extensive experience within a similar role the mining or resources sector
- Competent using document control systems
- Confident reading procurement documentation
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
