About our Client
Our client is Australia???s largest coal miner and exporter, the world’s largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market andlargest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

About the Role
WorkPac is currently seeking experienced Lab Technicians to commence at a mine located near Dysart. As a Laboratory Technician you will have a chance to utilise your previous experience working in a laboratory environment and interacting with numerous site staff. Your excellent communication and organisational skills as well as your ability to work well in a team will guarantee success in this position. You will benefit from a stimulating and diverse workload within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Skills & Experience

Coal Board Medical
Standard 11 Induction Training
Drivers Licence
CHPP Experience

About the Bowen Basin mining region, Queensland.

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.

The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
