Maintenance Supervisor job – Northern Suburbs

Connect People have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with experience ideally in a large commercial setting.

To develop project management capability by reviewing, introducing and implementing project management standards and methodologies across the contract.

Responsibilities and Key deliverables:Assist with the delivery of the maintenance and asset management programs. Manage and deliver works on budget and within the contracted or agreed time frame.Monitor costs to identify exceptions to project targets.

Working with FM team, Client Capital Works team and the Project Estimator to prepare and manage individual projects ensuring to meet key milestones and deliverables.Maintain strong relationships with all key working partners including FM team and contract management.s.Ensure operating costs are reviewed to identify opportunities to reduce expenditure, improve profitability and ensure efficiency of the operation.Complete Asset Condition assessments

Requirements

Relevant Trade or Engineering qualifications or equivalent in construction, building installation or maintenance related areas

Demonstrated effective people management skills and techniques.At least 2 years experience in Project Co-ordination, Project Management or equivalent.

Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, monitor and report on capital projects across multiple sites in the order of $100k – $10M.Experience and understanding of system audits

Demonstrated ability to manage budget and administration for capital work projects

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stake holders to successfully deliver projects/ works programs.
