Mining Maintenance Fitter – Fixed Plant

To support there success, they are currently searching for a Maintenance Fitter to join passionate team. The Sedgman Maintenance Services (SMS) group provides Maintenance support and solutions to Sedgman Operations, and external third party clients.
What does this role involve?
Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Coordinator, the Maintenance Technician will be involved in workshop operations and field services across different mine sites including maintenance and rebuilds of CHPP equipment.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic
- High level of focus on quality
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Highly desired skills for this position are: Field Service Experience, high risk work license (forklift, rigging, working at heights, etc.), OEM equipment experience, and experience in centrifugal pumps maintenance/ rebuild.
