Machinery Mining Production Operator – New to Industry

They currently have unmissable opportunities for candidates with Heavy civil/earthmoving skills to secure a start as a Machinery Operator working on a coal mine.

The role will be working in Mudgee, NSW so you MUST be living local in Mudgee or willing to relocate immediately.

What skills do you need to be considered for these roles?

• Applying candidates must be mechanically minded and come from a background with machinery.
• Have experience operating heavy machinery within a civil, earthmoving and/or quarrying environment.
• Experience operating trucks, dozers, graders, loaders and/or water carts.
• The above machinery experience is necessary and will need to be proven with a form of competency such as a ticket, OHS Card or an RTO/RII Certificate

Successful candidates will need to:

• Have good communication and problem solving skills.
• Commit to a minimum of 12 months.
• Undertake interview process and assessment center.
• Be committed to safety in the workplace.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
