Field Diesel Fitters Boilermakers Underground Mine Job QLD
Mining Equipment Maintenance is seeking Experienced and Enthusiastic Field Diesel Fitters, Boilermakers, Refuellers & Underground Fitters for upcoming works to join there friendly team based out of Rockhampton.
MEM are offering competitive remuneration + vehicle + site allowance + travel + nightshift allowance
Roster and Adhoc positions available!
The successful candidates must have strong knowledge and experience over a range of equipment and plant along with possessing a particular focus on quality and efficiency. The proposed roles will be on mine sites within the Bowen Basin.
Successful Boilermaker applicants will require:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Minimum 2 years post trade experience in Workshop or Field Services
- Experience in fabrication
- Current MR License
- Crane, EWP, Gantry Crane, Working at Heights and Forklift are preferred
- Current CBM & Standard 11 Induction Training
- Excellent attitude in getting the job done within deadlines and time frames
- Be able to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Site inductions advantageous
Successful Refueller applicants will require:
- Experience operating 773 Truck
- Minimum 2 years experience in Field Services
- Current Car License
- Current CBM, Standard 11 Induction Training & BMA Induction
- Excellent attitude in getting the job done within deadlines and time frames
- Be able to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to work 5/4/4/5 roster

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
