George Fisher zinc mine operation – Mount Isa Mines, QLD
This job will give you the opportunity to work in a team to safely perform planned and breakdown maintenance tasks. This role is within the Electrical, Maintenance Department at George Fisher Mine, QLD.
This position offered for a period of 24 months.
Your day to day duties will include electrical maintenance tasks within the department. Preferred experience with jumbos and production drills would be an advantage.
To succeed in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years experience with preferably a current Queensland Fitter/Mechanic Electrical licence.
Previous mining and drill rig experience would be highly regarded for this position. With your previous experience within mining, expertise in HV switching would be an advantage also.
You will have the ability to make decisions, work to meet deadlines, high level of work quality, exceptional communication skills and always strive to be part of a high performing team.
Further requirements for the position are basic skills with Microsoft Office Suite and preferred Ellipse.
