Experienced CHPP Operator Maintainer required for an Immediate Start in the Bowen Basin – 7/7 Roster.

Our client is Australia’s largest coal producer and exporter with several mine sites located across the Bowen Basin in Queensland. This company currently has an opportunity available for an Experienced CHPP Operator Maintainer to commence a role immediately on a 7/7 Roster.

Your new role

This position is an immediate start on a coal mine site located in the Bowen Basin.

This role will see you working in the coal handling preparation plant working as an Operator Maintainer working amongst the team and reporting to the supervisor.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you must have a strong safety focus, be a team player and have previous or current experience as a CHPP Operator Maintainer. It is a mandatory requirement that you have coal mining experience in the washplant.

As well as holding a Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker / Electrician Trade, you also must have a current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Induction Training; or willing to obtain.

What you’ll get in return

This role offers you an immediate start in the Bowen Basin area working on a 7/7 Day & Night roster with your camp accommodation and meals supplied by the client.

You will be paid super for all hours worked on site and there is also an opportunity to receive a Temp Worker Recognition Bonus after 6 months of continuous work.

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
