Experienced Underground Mining Loader Operator

Experienced underground loader operators wanted for ongoing roles on a lifestyle roster of 7 days on 7 days off; consisting of 12 hour shifts (day & night shifts).

Underground Mining Machinery Loader Operator Western QLD-iMINCO.net Mining Information

This role would have you responsible for the safe & effective operation of a CAT 2900 loader, housekeeping of machinery, assisting the service crew and a high standard of communication with other operators.

Applicants residential to Mount Isa will have priority for these positions and will be considered for secured employment contracts, which includes paid Annual leave and Sick Leave entitlements. If not residential, applicants willing to relocate to Mount Isa at their own expense will be highly regarded.

To be successful for the role you will need;

  • Valid Manual Drivers License (C class or higher)
  • Extensive experience on a 2900 loader (FIFO candidates will need a minimum of 2 years experience)
  • Ability to pass low risk JTE, medical assessment & complete other inductions at own expense
  • Experience in the same or similar role and demonstrated experience on above machinery is essential
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety & a culture of continuous improvement
