Underground Mining Mechanical Fitter Jobs

Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter Underground Mining Coalfields

The Haynes Group are currently seeking applications from Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitters with demonstrated experience on Underground Roof Support repair and maintenance. The client has a short term (10 days) project to commencing in November.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Underground Roof Support experience
  • Staple lock Hosing/hydraulic circuit experience
  • Fault finding
  • Adherence to Safety and Quality Processes

Applicants will require:

  • Resume and 2 contactable work referees
  • Drivers License and Passport/Birth Certificate
  • Complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
  • Overhead Crane, Forklift, WAH and Rigging/Dogging would be highly advantageous

  • Kick Off – 10th November 2018
  • 10 Day Duration
  • Day/Night shift crews
  • 12 hour shifts
  • Very competitive hourly rates

This is a Mackay town-based role. No accommodation is supplied. Candidates must live locally or have their own accommodation options in Mackay.
