Trade Assistant Job Shutdown Work -Bowen Basin Mining Monadelphous
Monadelphous Maintenance & Industrial Services Division is seeking experienced Trade Assistants for shutdowns based in the Bowen Basin area
All candidates should:
- Hold a valid Standard 11 Induction Training or BMA induction
- Hold a valid Coal Board Medical
- Provide Working at Heights and Confined Space cert in the last 2 years
- Hold a White Card
- Produce Proof of Right to work in Australia
The successful applicants will be safety conscious and will be required to actively contribute in HSE based activities to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and other workers.
You must be able to be flexible to deliver in a continually evolving environment and possess strong team work ethics.
As part of the recruitment process, suitable applicants are required to complete pre-employment medical testing including drug and alcohol screening.

About the Bowen Basin
The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the worldâ€™s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queenslandâ€™s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
