Experienced Single and Multi-skill Operators Required for Coal Mine Job
WorkPac currently have a number of opportunities for experienced Operators to commence work immediately. This work could start as early as next week.
You will form part of and contribute to the Mine Operations Department of a Bowen Basin Mine near Blackwater

It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.
About the Role
This is a drive in drive out (DIDO) role for an open cut coal mine. Client are seeking skilled and experienced Haul Truck and Multi-skill Operators.
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Be skilled and experienced in a Minimum Caterpillar 789 Haul Truck and / or D11 Dozer, 16H/M and 24 H/M Grader and Large scale Mining Excavators
- 7/7 Roster
- 12 Hour Shifts
- On going positions
Skills/Experience
- Minimum 12 months experience operating Caterpillar 789 Haul Truck or larger
- Skills List / Machine Authorization / Training Transcript will be required for operational evidence.
- Current Drivers License
- Current Coal Board Medical or willing to Obtain
- Current Current Standard 11 Induction Training or willing to obtain

About the Bowen Basin mining region, Queensland.
The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
