They are currently taking expressions of interest to join their established ‘Shutdowns‘ teams operating throughout the Whyalla region. These roles will be based in Whyalla, so you will be living in the Whyalla area as it is NOT a FIFO role.
The Roles
- Boilermakers
- Fitters
- Riggers/Scaffolders
- Crane Operators
- Experienced Trades Assistants
- Experienced General Labour
- Vacuum Truck Operators
- Water Jetting Experienced Labour
About you
You will have a proven track record of experience in heavy industry, fixed plant maintenance, construction or commissioning; an attitude that safety and well-being comes first; and a willingness to go the extra yard to achieve great results for yourself, your team and your customers.
Key Competencies;
- Trade Qualification (If applicable to the role you’re seeking)
- Current Liberty Onesteel & SIMEC Mining Inductions
- Current EWP License
- Working at Heights (Preferable)
- Confined Space (Preferable)
- Current C Class Driver’s License
- White Card
- Any other relevant tickets
You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgement to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
