Experience Scraper Operators

Experienced scraper operators wanted for mine site work on a 7/7 roster.

•    Hourly Rate $50.00
•    7/7 Roster – Day Shift Only
•    Camp and Meals Provided

Opportunities exist for experienced Scraper Operators at a local open cut coal mine in Rolleston. You will assist with creek diversion and creating levees and dams to allow the Rolleston open cut mine to continue developing and expanding. Client can offer an immediate start and ongoing work for successful applicants.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience operating 657, 637G, 631 Scrapers
• RII for Scraper
• Standard 11 Induction Training Induction
• Section 4 Coal Board Medical
• Must pass a Pre Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• CAAG Glencore Induction preferred

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
