There client is a major maintenance and construction contractor in Central Queensland, providing support to Australian and Pacific region mining and gas industries since its establishment in 2005.

You will be an active part of there Field Services and Projects crew, you will be required to work on site in the Bowen Basin for work in July.
You must be highly experienced in mining maintenance with a demonstrated ability to achieve & exceed set targets with a safety-first attitude.
Ideally, you must also hold a current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Induction Training. Confined Spaces and Working at Heights tickets would also be an advantage.

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
The Bowen Basin covers a total area of over 60,000 square kilometres and is located in Central Queensland; running from Collinsville to Theodore. The entire region is home to many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
