Production Supervisor Capcoal Opencut Operations Central QLD
They are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor, with a passion for safe production, for Capcoal Open Cut operation based in Middlemount Queensland. Reporting through to the Production Superintendent the successful candidate will demonstrate a drive for safety as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
As an experienced supervisor you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of operators to ensure operational standards are met. You will effectively plan, monitor and coordinate personnel, and equipment such as Trucks, Dozer, Graders and Excavators and resources to safely achieve the companies set targets and schedules.
In addition, you will provide technical support, leadership and coaching to the production team whilst ensuring compliance with site policies and procedures. You will need to have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety and determination for providing coaching and mentoring to an established crew.
To be successful in the role on an even time roster, you will have a minimal of five years supervisor experience within an open cut mining operation, demonstrated experience within truck and excavator operations and a working knowledge of relevant legislation. You will also hold relevant certifications including S1,S2,S3 and G2 as well as a current Standard 11 Induction Training.
