Plant Operator Waste management forklift Sydney NSW
The client is a leader in the waste management industry and a specialist in converting waste food to renewable energy and fertilizers. Due to growth they are seeking to employ a Plant Operator to work as a part of their core operations team.
This is on-going long term assignment offering 5 days per week (weekend work and overtime as available). You will be working as a part of their core operations team and some of your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
- Operating the plant
- Operate a forklift
- Assist/run weigh bridge operations
- Industrial Cleaning (hosing down machinery)
- General Labouring duties
- Attending & participating in the site WHS processes
Skills and experience:
- Hands on labouring experience is must have (2 Years +)
- Working on site experience
- Current Forklift ticket is highly regarded but not essential requirement (as training will be provided for the right candidate)
- High safety focus
- Current Drivers license and own transport client is not accessible via public transport
- Able to pass a comprehensive drug screen
