Client is and industry leader delivering a full range of open cut mining services in the coal and metalliferous mining sectors, spanning the entire mine development and operations. Golding also offers specialist mine site rehabilitation works including environmental dam construction and reclamation earthworks.
About the Role
Ongoing opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Dozer Operators who will contribute to the successful operations of a mine site located within the Bowen Basin.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Safety as your top priority
- Operate CAT D11 Dozer
- Pre-starts on machinery
Skills/Experience
- 2 years coal mining experience
- CAT D11 Dozer competency
- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Induction Training or equivalent
- Drivers License

About the Bowen Basin mining region, Queensland.
The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
The Bowen Basin covers a total area of over 60,000 square kilometres and is located in Central Queensland; running from Collinsville to Theodore. The entire region is home to many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
