Mining Mobile Plant Dump Truck Operator

Client is looking for Experienced Dump Truck Operators for work on a mine site, local to the Singleton Area. They are seeking operators who are interested in working a 12.5hr lifestyle day and night roster. (5/4/5/5/4/5)

To be successful you must:

  • Have 12 + months experience operating Dump Trucks in a mining environment and have the equivalent competency for a KOM 830E or CAT 789/ greater
  • Provide signed competencies to verify experience
  • Be able to provide a minimum of 2 work related supervisor references
  • Have a flexible ‘can do’ attitude, as cultural fit to this site is very important to there client

You will be required to:

  • Work a lifestyle rotating day and night shift roster
  • Operate in a safe and productive manner
  • Pass a D test and undertake a full functional medical

Please Note: This is a residential role, no FIFO or camp facilities are available. Applicants must have accommodation in the Hunter Valley region for an application to be considered.

Provide signed competencies to verify experience. Be able to provide a minimum of 2 work related supervisor references

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
