Coalroc have a short term requirement for miner/operators, fitters and supervisors for a conveyor installation in the Mudgee region.

Rosters are Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday working 12 hour shifts

Wages and provisions:

  • Operator  from $60/hr
  • Fitter  from $65/hr
  • Supervisor from $70/hr

Accommodation/meals allowance paid per shift worked Retention Bonus up to $4,000 paid on completion (attendance KPIs applicable)

The project is expected to commence mid September with inductions and equipment RPLs. Applicants must have a minimum 12 months experience working in an underground black coal mine

Experience with conveyor installations is preferred by not essential. Applicants must be willing to undergo a Coal Board Medical and drug and alcohol screening prior to engagement.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
