Maintenance Supervisor Heavy Mining – Bowen Basin

SES Labour Solutions have an upcoming requirement for experienced and trade qualified Maintenance Supervisor based in the Bowen Basin.
Vital to your success will be extensive experience supervising maintenance activities on large earth-moving equipment, especially trucks and dozers coupled with exposure to breakdown and preventative maintenance environment. The role will offer long term stability, accommodation whilst on shift and a competitive rate of pay for the right skill set.
You will supervise a team of trades people and clearly communicate with both operations and maintenance personnel on a daily basis
The successful candidate will also have the following:
- Trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting
- Proven leadership capabilities
- 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory role involving mine site / civil project work
- 5 -10 years’ experience as a Diesel Fitter
- Supervisor Qualification (S123)

About the Bowen Basin mining region, Queensland.
The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
The Bowen Basin covers a total area of over 60,000 square kilometres and is located in Central Queensland; running from Collinsville to Theodore. The entire region is home to many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
