PROGRAMMED Skilled Workforce are urgently seeking qualified Heavy Duty Fitters with strong mining experience to work with an industry leading Iron Ore company based in the Pilbara.

The successful candidate will be working a 2 weeks on 1 week off FIFO roster from Perth. PROGRAMMED Skilled Workforce are urgently seeking qualified Heavy Duty Fitters with strong mining experience to work with an industry leading Iron Ore company based in the Pilbara.

Successful candidates will receive $60.00 per hour + Superannuation on all hours worked. You will have previous experience within the mining industry; You will be required to carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and fault finding and maintain, service and repair their fleet of the following;

Drills: SK 16, Pit Viper, Cubex
Excavator: Hitachi 3600/5500 or Liebherr 995/996 or Komatsu 4000/5500

Applications will only be considered by those who meet the below minimum requirements:

Australian Recognized Heavy Duty trade qualification

  • Air Conditioning Ticket (preferred)
  • Current HR driver’s license
  • Previous experience is essential within a mining environment
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Be able to pass pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screens
  • Hold valid working rights within Australia

$60.00 per hour + Superannuation on all hours worked.

Successful applicants would be required to provide two contactable referees’ and be able to meet Pre-employment medical and drug screen criteria prior to commencement.
