Blue Tongue specializes in hiring & training mechanics for the mining, heavy equipment, and transport (mining) . With over a decade of work-force planning for heavy maintenance, they have become known as the “go-to” boutique employer for automotive mechanics that are searching to break into mining equipment or mining transport.

They are currently partnering with leading organization in the mining and transport services sector to source, recruit, hire, train, employ and transition Light Vehicle Mechanics into Heavy Diesel.

Upon completion of the 8-weeks training you will be required to re-locate to Perth or WA where they will coordinate your start on-site. Training is due to start mid 2018.

This is a unique program and a golden pathway for motivated and experienced car mechanics to achieve great earnings and break into the top tiers of the mining and transport industries.

Successful applications will need to demonstrate:

  • A certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanic (minimum)
  • Previous experience with dealer and/or independent workshops
  • Strong employment stability
  • Previous exposure to heavy machinery will highly regarded
  • Electrical and hydraulic knowledge is highly advantageous

All applicants will be required to participate in a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening and national police clearance.
