HC Mining Loader Operators

Extrastaff Mackay are currently seeking experienced HC Loader Operators for ongoing work at Moranbah North Coal Mine.

Looking in particular, for the following skills, licenses and experience:

  • Current Standard 11 Induction Training and Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience on a mine site
  • RIIs for HC and Loader – within 5 years
  • Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot
  • Experience working on coal stockpiles and wash-plants (desired but not essential).

These roles will be DIDO (drive in/drive out) so you will need to have access to your own transport. Food and accommodation will be provided when on roster.  The roster for this role will be 4/5/5/4 roster rotating day and night shifts.

The package for this role is $105,000 with accruals for annual leave and personal leave.

These are permanent positions with their client.

Please note that Moranbah North Mine has a non facial hair policy in place. The selection process also requires completion of a drug and alcohol screen.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
