Sharp’s Heavy Equipment Repairs Pty Ltd are vastly present throughout the Bowen Basin with their Field Service Team, and the Mackay and Dysart Workshop’s. They specialize in Heavy Mobile Equipment and also Light to Medium vehicles, from full rebuilds and overhauls to maintenance.
Applicants who are self-motivated and organized with the following are strongly encouraged to apply.
- 5 Years Post Trade Experience
- AUR20212 Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology
- OEM Experience
- HR License
- BMA Induction
- S1,2,3 & G2
Must be familiar in the following:
- Machine experience: CAT D10T, D11T Dozers & 24M Graders
- CAT SIS experience
- BMA Contractor Compliance & Risk Management
- Trade Certificate
- Working at Heights

About the Bowen Basin
The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
The Bowen Basin covers an area of over 60,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland running from Collinsville to Theodore and is dotted with many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
