The client is currently seeking expressions of interests for experienced quality mud rotary Driller Offsiders. You will be a part of a state-of-the-art mining operation based in the Northern SA. With high quality site accommodation and fully equipped catering facilities this is a fantastic fly-in-fly-out role.

Candidates with a demonstrated history of working to strict safety and quality standards within the drilling industry are strongly encouraged to apply.

Successful applicant will have a flexible approach to a range of duties including but not limited to:

  • Compliance with the Company requirements for Safety, Environment and Heritage, including the completion of safety paperwork and processes
  • Operation of ancillary equipment including backhoe, trucks and other machinery as required
  • Assist to set up / dismantle / move drill rigs and equipment
  • Add/remove drill rods/augers and other down hole tools
  • Assist with mixing drilling mud’s/fluids/chemicals/cement as required
  • Maintain the drill site, drill rig, work area, vehicle and equipment in a clean hazard free condition
  • Assist in routine maintenance on drill rigs, equipment, vehicles and tools

To be considered for this role you will also be a professionally presented individual with an excellent attitude towards safety and possess a strong team focus. You will have a passion for drilling and not be afraid of hard work .

The capacity to pass a Drug Screen, Medical and Police clearance is a non negotiable requirement.

Key requirements to be considered for this role are:

  • Current Class HR Driver’s License
  • Current Senior First Aid
  • Current High Risk CV – Vehicle Loading Crane License
  • Current High Risk LF (Forklift) and LB (Backhoe) License (desirable)
  • Drillers – Class 2 or 3 Water Well License SA
  • Mud Rotary Drilling experience (highly regarded)
  • Monitoring Bores and Extraction Wells (highly regarded)
  • Certificate II / III in Drilling Operations (desirable)
  • Previous experience in the industry (highly regarded)
