GO2 is seeking highly skilled Direction Drillers with locating experience in and around live services for an immediate start based in Perth and surrounding areas. Experience using Ditch Witch and Vermeers is a must. Long hours and all locally based work. Experience working in and around telecommunications is highly desirable

The ideal candidate shall be experienced at drilling under roads, rail lines and along street verges to install communications cable and pipe, along with power cable and pipe.
Suitable candidates will have the following:
- Proven recent experience in a similar role
- Experience using locators, Ditch witch, Vermeer
- Ideally possess an HR class license
- White card
- National accredited tickets to operate mobile plant would be advantageous
- First aid certificate
- Team player
- Available immediately

The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
