The Coal Induction course is a nationally recognised program and your certificate on completion can be added to your resume†as an extra qualification. Other people competing for the same mining job may not have this qualification, which could give you a big advantage and an interview which is the first step on your path to a mining career.
The 3-day course is held in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, QLD and training times are 8.30am to 4.30pm daily. Comfortable clothes and enclosed shoes†should be worn†and if you can arrive 5 minutes early to the course, it will assist the trainer to get the full program started on time.
The Coal Induction course trainers will ensure you are trained to the highest standards.† The†courses are always way ahead of the minimum requirements for Coal Induction certification and will give you the knowledge to make a confident impression at your mining job interview.
All the information you need on the Coal Induction course will be supplied when you register.
All students will also receive a FREE “Mine Ready Kit” and Post-Training Job Support on completion of the Coal Induction course.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
You can transfer your nationally recognised civil Excavator, Front End Loader or Dozer tickets only to RII Black Coal Competencies.
