The role

Cracow Mine site is located just outside of Theodore in Central Queensland. You will be working an 8:6/ 7:7 roster; providing more opportunity to spend quality time at home when not on shift. When you are on shift you will be accommodated in a fully equipped village close to the mine site. This could be a great opportunity for a fit and energetic team player searching to make mining their career.

Underground Mining Truck Operators Cracow Mine site FIFO QLD

Reporting to the shift supervisor this role is responsible for the movement of ore and waste rock at underground mine. Achieving daily and weekly targets and outcomes is critical through ensuring efficient use of equipment and operating times. Assisting other underground operators as needed will also make up part of this role.

Are you the one?

  • Previous operational experience on a diverse range of underground mobile equipment.
  • Have sound understanding of machinery and care of mobile mechanical equipment
  • Relevant qualifications including a HR Class vehicle license
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Previous underground mining experience is essential.
  • Highly organized and motivated
  • Safe working record
  • Manual drivers license is essential
