With operational sites in Queensland and across Australia, this mining house ensures strategic forward planning approaches are taken to its mining methods. This mining house requires experienced Underground Service Crew for 14/7 roster.

Your new role

Client are currently searching to recruit experienced underground Service Crew to work in a safe manner in the construction, maintenance, inspection, operation and support of the underground infrastructure. Duties will include installation air and water lines, installation of stop-blocks, construction of bunds & walls, spotting and routine maintenance and inspections

What you’ll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you must have previous experience working within metalliferous mining in underground service work. Ideally you will have the following experience

  • Use & operation of Airleg and/or stopper
  • Use & operation of Integrate Tool Carrier (IT)
  • Installation of large pipe
  • Trade background
  • Light vehicle operation in U/G environment
  • Working at Heights

A current C Class drivers license and ability to pass a full functional medical is required.
