Underground Mining Exploration Diamond Drillers QLD

Due to continued growth within our minerals division, they are now seeking applications from suitably qualified underground drillers for QLD Project.

The Role

The role of an underground Driller is to recover an accurate core sample as per customer specifications, in a safe cost effective manner, while upholding Mitchell Services Values, meeting operational performance targets, participating in safety initiatives, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Successful candidates are required to meet the following inherent requirements for this position

  • Preference will be given to suitable candidates with current drilling experience
  • A minimum of 2 years drilling Industry experience is highly desired
  • An open Drivers License is a requirement
  • A current Provide First Aid / CPR (obtain with in the first 3 months)
  • Cert 111 in Drilling Operations is highly desired for this role (or the ability to obtain)
  • Provide a clear National Police Clearance is a requirement
  • A good level of physical fitness is an inherent requirement
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening and a functional medical exam
  • The ability to work a 1  week on, 1 week off FIFO even time  roster
