About the Role
WorkPac has been appointed as a Managed Workforce Provider for Mount Isa Mines. Permanent opportunities exist for Underground Mine Assistant which will contribute to the successful operations of this mine site.
Locally-based candidates are preferred and will be considered for secured employment contracts, which includes paid leave entitlements.
Additionally, generous relocation incentives will be offered to successful candidates who move to Mount Isa.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mucking developing headings, stope draw points
- Performing site clean ups, stope back fill
- Loading Trucks
Skills/Experience:
- Current C class manual drivers license
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Multi Skilled Loader Operator
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow company standard and procedures
- A medical including drug and alcohol testing is required as part of the recruitment process
