Trade Qualified Boilermakers Mining industry QLD
An opportunity exists for four trade qualified Boilermakers with experience in mining or quarry industry.
- 1 week contract- 18 December until 22 December
- Ferny Grove Location
- Day shift (7am until 6pm)
The client is a leading provider in the Heavy Structural and Mechanical Engineering industries. A short term Christmas close down opportunity has opened up to assist in the delivery of maintenance, equipment and close down at the Hanson Quarry in Ferny Grove
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding, cutting and grinding or conveyor structures and damaged components
- Obey site rules and regulations
- Be familiar with JSA’s, Take Ones and filling in permits
Essential for these roles:
- Basic hand tools and welding helmet including PPE
- Current first aide certificate
- Current Working at Heights
- Current Confined Spaces
- Current Driver License and transport
- Be familiar with JSA’s, Take Ones and filling in permits
- Be able to pass Physical, Medical and Drug and Alcohol Test for site
