Trade Assistant Diesel Fitter

Trade Assistant Diesel Fitter Mt Isa Queensland

JDR Mining & Civil are seeking a TA to join the team in the Mt Isa workshop, assisting the Diesel Fitters with the servicing & maintenance of the company’s fleet of heavy machinery.
Previous experience in a similar TA role would be an advantage, some kind of mechanical experience is essential to succeed.

Trade Assistant Diesel Fitter Mt Isa Queensland

Please ensure you meet the following criteria to apply:

  • Manual Drivers license, as the role will involve collecting parts & equipment from around town
  • Mechanical experience of some kind
  • High risk forklift license would be an advantage

You must be enthusiastic, hard working, reliable and self motivated, along with being able to follow instruction to the letter.
Roster will be Monday to Friday 10-12hrs/day, with weekend work available.

JDR Mining Pty Ltd is a local business servicing and supporting the Mount Isa and surrounding area, offering a complete range of skills for both civil construction and mining projects.
Their projects include total mine infrastructure, road construction, power and waterline access way, bridge and culvert construction, shotcrete, drill and blast, crushing and screening, excavation and mining, concrete placement and concrete supply
