The Job
They are seeking Driller’s Offsiders to join there team and help continue success. Previous Experience will be highly regarded.

Swick Mining Drillers Offsiders Underground Operators Darwin NT
- Accepting and acting on the instructions from the driller
in a safe and timely manner - Gaining the skills to maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Pulling rods: loading and unloading drill rods out of feed mechanism in the drill rig
Performing pre-starts on all equipment including PPE Cleaning and loading the core
The Candidate
To be considered for this position, the following essential criteria will need
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen;
- Current Police Clearance or ability to obtain*
- Physically fit & healthy,
- Current Senior First Aid certificate

Caterpillar Haul truck 777
The Caterpillar 777 is a 100-ton haul truck, typically used in open pit mining, manufactured by Caterpillar Inc. The first model of Caterpillar 777 was introduced in 1974. Its diesel engine is capable of putting out 870 horsepower. The 777D, introduced in 1996, was powered by a 938-horsepower diesel.
This truck is one of the entry-level haul trucks most new operators will learn on. Once competent, they will move up to the larger 785, especially when working on a coal mining site.
