Shutdown Personnel job – Mackay & Coalfields

Calling out to all experienced Shutdown Personnel who want to become integral members of our Projects Team working across the Bowen Basin on various shutdowns. If you are up for the challenge we are searching for you!
We are recruiting for the following:
- Supervisors (Previous Mine Site Supervisory experience in a similar leadership role with the backing of a Trade – min 4 years)
- Boilermakers
- Mechanical Fitters
- Riggers
- Trade Assistants
Successful candidates will have experience in the following:
Coal Handling and Process Plants (CHPP)
Draglines and Shovels
Ideally you will have:
G189 (S123) Supervisor Certificate
G2 Supervisor Certificate
Relevant Trade Qualification
Coal Board Medical
Standard 11 Induction Training
Confined Space / Gas Test Atmospheres
Working at Heights
High Risk Work Licence

About the Bowen Basin mining region, Queensland.
The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
The Bowen Basin covers a total area of over 60,000 square kilometres and is located in Central Queensland; running from Collinsville to Theodore. The entire region is home to many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
