Serviceman Coal Mine Chinchilla Region QLD

Serviceman Coal Mine Chinchilla Mining Job QLD-iMINCO.net Mining Information

There client who is an established civil and mining infrastructure company are seeking multiple experienced service truck operators to refuel and supply lubricants to mining machinery. During your employment you will be working a 10 day on 4 day off roster, 12 hours per day. Camp accommodation will be provided, however you will be required to travel to site.

The successful candidate would have the following skills and attributes:

  • RII SAM212D – Service Mine Equipment
  • Standard 11 Induction Training
  • Must pass functionality test & Coal board medical
  • AUSTRALIAN COAL MINING EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in similar position – Fuel and lubrication servicing
  • Physically fit – You will be changing filters and climbing in/out of trucks and equipment. This is a dirty role that requires physical strength and ability to navigate mining machinery.
  • Math and written skills – Able to record keep and maintain a log and Fill out fuel/lubrication sheets
  • Mechanical aptitude – Able to service machinery
  • Current drivers license
  • Strong work ethic with high standards in safety

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
