Qualified Heavy Earthmoving Diesel Fitter Mining Queensland

AE Group Civil & Mining are seeking a Highly Experienced and Qualified Diesel Fitter for an Immediate Start.  Contract or Wages.  Negotiate Roster to suit.

The key requirements for this roles are that applicants applying must have proven experience working on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment including Caterpillar & Komatsu.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your basic duties will include but are not limited to servicing, modifications, testing and repairs and Component Rebuild to our fleet of diesel equipment, located at Workshop at Middlemount, Queensland.

What you’ll need to succeed

Prior experience and a good working knowledge of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment is a MUST.

You are required to be a Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter/Mechanic. A current and valid driver’s license is essential. A forklift and crane license and and safe work at heights certification, Coal board medical and Standard 11 Induction Training is also desirable but not essential.

  • Mechanical trade qualifications
  • Have a hand on approach and able to work under pressure
  • Be able to problem solve
  • Able to work autonomously and in a team
  • Hydraulic/pneumatic experience is highly desirable
