Process Plant Supervisor required for a 6 month contract FIFO to North West QLD.
With operational sites in Queensland and across Australia, this mining house ensures strategic forward planning approaches are taken to its mining methods. This mining house requires an experienced Process Plant Supervisor for a 6 month contract.
Your new role
Reporting to the Production Superintendent you will be responsible for overseeing a team of operators within the Processing Plant which consists of crushing, grinding, flotation, water treatment, tailings disposal and concentrate filtration sections.
You will be required to ensure a smooth and continual production process is maintained at all times and housekeeping of the processing area is to a high standard. This role is offered FIFO from Townsville on a 2:1 roster.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have extensive experience operating SAG milling and flotation circuits preferably within a base metal mining environment as well as strong leadership capabilities.
You must be a safety focused individual, a highly skilled communicator and be able to work well autonomously as well as part of a team. FEL, skid steer and/or forklift ticket would be advantageous but not essential.
