This position offers Day Shift Hours and great pay rate within a well known Toowoomba company. This role is ultimately suited to a candidate whom is interested in having a healthy work/life balance in a local position.
About the Role:
WorkPac currently require experienced haul truck operators to join their team in the Toowoomba Region for an immediate start. The role will be day shift, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity of some Saturdays. The hours are family friendly and offer a fantastic work/life balance.
The position is Toowoomba Based, local candidates need only apply.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a similar environment and at least 2 years experience operating a haul truck CAT773 or equivalent.
In this role you will be required to:
- Be punctual and well presented
- Operate large machinery in a production environment
- Demonstrate a solid work ethic
- Follow direct instruction
- Comply with HAUL TRUCK OPERATORS REQUIRED
- Comply with OHS policies, procedures and legislation, which includes participation in site safety meetings

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
