Multiskilled Mining Operator

Leading Coal producer in the Gunnedah Basin is searching for experienced Operators to work on their Maules Creek mine site. The successful applicant will have 4+ years experience in mining or quarry.

Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be required to operate mobile plant equipment. As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client’s project requirements. You will be highly motivated, reliable and be committed to safe work practices and continuous improvement principles.

ABOUT YOU

Demonstrated experience operating mobile mining equipment including trucks, dozers, graders and excavators in an open cut environment. Production and safety orientated with a focus on achieving results for both yourself and for the company
High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure.

OFFER

• This is a residential position, however for the right candidate, short term Camp accommodation is on offer
• Bus transport to and from site
• 4 panel roster, 12.5 hr days

Please Note: This role is on a rotating roster, day/ night shift including weekends. 

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Coal Board medical and must reside in the local area as this is a residential role

The position commences in approximately 2 weeks however the client would like to interview candidates as soon as possible. The successful person will be subject to a D Screen and full pre-employment medical.
