About the Position:
Kal Tire is pleased to provide immediate opportunities for OTR Tyre Technician. The OTR Tyre Technician supports the needs of customers and will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining mobile equipment tyres for both surface and underground operations.

This position can lead to a variety of duties within the company. As a Tyre Technician in the Mining Tire Group you will be trained in all aspects of tyre related service, repair for mining tyres and adhering to Kal Tire’s work and safety standards. A key part of this role is setting the standard for service excellence within the industry.
There are multiple positions on offer including Tyre Technicians and Relief /Floating Technicians.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Hold a current HRWL/LF qualification.
- Hold recognized Cert II in tyre fitting
- Have current experience in tyre fitting
- Standard 11 Induction Training Mining Induction (preferable)
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
- Have a strong safety focus.
- Excellent communication with a can do attitude.
- A team player that can work autonomously.
- Be willing and eager to develop your career with organization.
