Townes Contracting Group is currently searching for suitably qualified personnel for immediate start. Looking for RELIABLE and hardworking Civil and construction workers.
Following roles:
- Final trim grader operator GPS guidance
- Final trim excavator operator GPS guidance
- Articulated dump truck operators
What is on offer:
- Short and Long term assignments
- Capability for training and up skilling for the right applicants
To be considered for this role you will need the following:
- White card
- Relevant Truck licence
- Relevant Civil construction Tickets (RII) / Verification of Competency (VOC) for the machinery
- Reliable Transport
- Full PPE
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- minimum 2 years experience in any of the above roles
Ideal applicants should possess an excellent attitude towards safety and the ability to work effectively within a team based environment.
All applicants MUST have experience in with the operation of the relevant equipment applied for.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
